Sprouts – Play & Learn

You are invited to join a special Play and Learn program at Michigan’s Heritage Park. “Sprouts” is a free program for infants and toddlers. Adults and children learn through the art of playing with sensory bins, playing outside, and much more! Each month features a new theme and book for participants to take home for free! Montague Family Storytime

January Series livestream webcast

The award-winning January Series of Calvin College is coming to the library!  We will again be hosting a livestream webcast of this popular series each weekday, Jan. 3 – 23.  The hour-long lectures begin at 12:30, and selected talks will be followed by a facilitated discussion. Middle and High School Open Studio

January 23 @ 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Middle and High School Open Studio 4:30-6:30 pm on Wednesdays; Dec. 5 and 12, Jan. 9, 16, 23, and 30. Participants will have the opportunity to work on projects for the Post Card Salon and the Back to Basics shows. Basic instruction will focus on composition and techniques using different types of media. Pay $10 per class as you go.

FREE Family Fun Event

Fruitland Covenant Church is hosting a FREE Family Fun Event Wednesday evenings from January 9 to March 27 from 5:00pm-8:00pm. It’s a great time to get out of the house and is open to all ages! Dinner is provided free of charge from 5-7. The gym is open for all ages from 5-8. Paint it Red: Big Reds Football History

Chair Volleyball

Chair Volleyball is great fun for people of all ages from young to Seniors. It’s a great physical activity that provides a fun way to be active. Because players are required to remain seated (players are allowed to lift one side of their body, but are not permitted to rise completely off of the chair), chair volleyball allows those with physical limitations to participate on a level playing field with those who may be more active.
