Spring is in the air, and it’s a beautiful time to be in the White Lake area. We’re fortunate enough at the Weathervane Inn to be at the heart of all the goings-on. So gather your friends, bring the family, and join us for spring in White Lake!

Quaint Downtown Shopping

With the warmer spring weather, shoppers can peruse the many unique boutiques in Whitehall and Montague on foot. You’ll find something for everyone here, including gifts and souvenirs, books, clothing, and recreational gear. Most shops are within walking distance of our lakeside hotel.

The Hart-Montague Bike Trail

Once traversed by mighty steam trains, the Hart-Montague Bike Trail was converted from railroad tracks to a 22-mile, paved, recreational trail in the early 1980s. Spring is one of the best sea-sons for hitting the “rail-trail” by foot or on bikes. You’ll be surrounded by colorful West Michigan wildflowers, budding trees, and fresh water streams. You might even catch some wildlife out and about soaking up the sun! Our water-front hotel is just a two-minute walk from the trail head in Montague.
