With the first day of fall fast approaching (September 22!), we wanted to start outlining the many fun events going on in our area this autumn!
September is a great month to visit Northern Michigan – especially the White Lake area. With school back on, tourism’s slowed down; traffic’s improved from places like Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, and Holland; lines are definitely shorter in town and the weather just keeps getting better.
At the beach, it’s definitely more comfortable than the hottest months of summer, and yet it’s still warm enough for a cozy bonfire or a pleasant walk enjoying the sunset.
In terms of fun activities and events, here’s what we have going on this month:
Don’t Miss These September Events in White Lake!
Tuesdays, September 12th & September 19th, 6:30pm – 8pm
Come to the gazebo in Goodrich Park in Montague to enjoy our local “Summer Ain’t Over Yet” concert series.
Put on by HarborLight Credit Union, the September 12th concert will feature the Bearded Ladies Men, and the September 19th concert will feature Buddy Popps as a fundraiser for the White Lake Food Pantry.
Bring a blanket or chairs plus snacks, and enjoy the music!
